Competing as an expansion team under head coach Chris Palmer, they concluded the season with a record of 2-14, playing at the newly constructed Cleveland Browns Stadium Photo.
First Pick: The Browns chose quarterback Tim Couch from Kentucky with the first overall selection in the 1999 NFL Draft. Head Coach was Chris Palmer and the General Manager was Dwight Clark. Key Statistical Leaders: Passing: was Tim Couch (2,447 yards), Rushing was Terry Kirby (452 yards), Receiving was Kevin Johnson (986 yards).
